GREENSBORO, NC--(Marketwired - Feb 9, 2015) - Piedmont Animal Health announces its second approval from the Food and Drug Administration for companion animals, new advantus™ (imidacloprid) soft chew, an oral flavored chewable flea medication for dogs.i
The new animal drug application (NADA) is formulated in Piedmont's patented soft chew invention, offering convenient, palatable dosing. The approval represents the second FDA approval for Piedmont and its first NADA approval. In June 2013, Piedmont announced the approval of quellin™ (carprofen) soft chews, an abbreviated new animal drug application (ANADA).ii
