Global Agricultural Firm H.J. Baker Announces Additions to Animal Health and Nutrition Team

Global Agricultural firm H.J. Baker announced today it has expanded its Animal Health and Nutrition division with the addition of six employees. The new hires include positions in business development, marketing, sales, and product management and they showcase H.J. Baker's continued commitment to offer the best feed products in the industry.

Stephen Blezinger, Ph.D., PAS, Manager of Business Development
Dr. Blezinger brings 23 years of industry experience to H.J. Baker. He has provided ongoing technical and marketing support for multiple companies in the animal nutrition industry. He acted as a consultant for Reveille Livestock Concepts and several other feed companies, with a focus on nutritional program analysis, valuation, and utilization. In his role at H.J. Baker, Blezinger will work closely with sales and marketing to develop, expand and generate new and existing business relationships, continuing to enhance H.J. Baker's customer experience.
Nancy Shearer, Marketing Manager
Shearer joins H.J. Baker after working as a marketing strategist for multiple corporations including National Reined Cow Horse Association (NRCHA), Matt Gaines Cutting Horses, and Paula Abbey Management. Prior to running her own company, Shearer spent almost a decade at Land O'Lakes Purina where she was an event and brand ambassador manager. As Marketing Manager at H.J. Baker, Shearer will drive initiatives and provide new marketing avenues to grow the division.
Frank Miller, Logistics Manager
Miller joins H.J. Baker with nine years' experience in supply chain management as Assistant Vice President of Transportation at Smithfield Packing Co. and as Director of Logistics for W.S. Badcock Corporation's chain of 300 stores. As H.J. Baker's Logistics Manager, Miller will streamline and manage processes and procedures to ensure customer goods move efficiently from raw materials through the supply chain to the end user meeting all regulatory requirements.
John Hickey, Director of Business Operations
Hickey was formerly with Del Monte Foods and Kellogg Company, where he was the procurement manager for multiple product ingredients and served in the roles of routing specialist and supply chain manager. As Director of Operations, Hickey will oversee the procurement of materials and ingredients for H.J. Baker's Animal Health and Nutrition operations.
Rebecca Terry, Account Manager
Terry has worked in the animal feed industry for 30 years, most recently at Alltech, where she was a sales manager for dairy, poultry, equine and aquaculture products in the California market. Terry will manage sales relationships with nutritional consultants, distributors, and direct accounts in California and the western states for H.J. Baker.
Jacob Sparkman, Account Manager
Sparkman comes to H.J. Baker from Tennessee Farmers Cooperative where he spent more than a decade as a feed and animal health specialist for member co-ops. As account manager with H.J. Baker, Sparkman will manage sales relationships in the southern states.
