Ranbaxy blueprints new facilities
Indian generics maker Ranbaxy Laboratories says it's set to plunk down more than half a million dollars on new healthcare facilities in the Punjab area of India, including hospitals and medical institutes.
The company already has proposed establishing a special tax zone in Mohali, Punjab, where it would invest $65 million in production facilities. There, it plans to ramp up manufacturing, churning out 10 million tablets over the next two years.
