I see a pattern here between this article and the other one you posted, "US spends $9 billion on child mental illness"
This looks like the same self-interested medicalization of childhood driven by the pharma industry and specialists that has been plaguing the maternity care field for decades. The only possible outcome is decreasing health status and increasing mortality rates for children.
