In Italy, BMS fined €2.3M on antitrust charges
A fight over colostomy bags sounds like fodder for a bad joke, but Bristol-Myers Squibb isn't laughing: Italy's antitrust ministry has fined the company €2.3 million for restricting price competition for the bags. The Italian government says Bristol-Myers colluded with its competitors Coloplast, Hollister, and B Braun Milano--which also were fined--to keep prices up.
