FiercePharma to enjoy the last days of summer

Labor Day began as a celebration of the American worker--a day when parades would demonstrate "the strength and esprit de corps of the trade and labor organizations" in every community, at least according to the U.S. Department of Labor. We're still reminded to think about laborers of all kinds on Monday's holiday.
Now, Labor Day is as much about the rituals of summer's end as it is about workers. The last day to swim in town pools and lakes, the final visit to amusement parks and resorts, the weekend we turn from freewheeling summer to the schedule-bound school year. Enjoy it, everyone. We'll take the day off, too, but will return with your daily pharma update on Tuesday.
