Bush signs anti-counterfeiting bill
President Bush signed a bill creating an intellectual property czar to beef up U.S. enforcement of laws against pirated and counterfeited products, including pharmaceuticals. That IP coordinator will be in the President's executive office. Sponsored by Sen. Patrick Leahy of Vermont, the measure "makes good economic sense" because it will help protect one of the U.S.'s "most important assets," the senator said. Report
