Oh, to be a fly on the appropriate Nigerian wall. The case of Nigeria versus Pfizer over the 1996 meningitis drug trial adjourned yesterday until November, but behind the scenes, there's plenty of activity. According to Attorney General Ibrahim Umar, Nigerian officials have been meeting with Pfizer representatives to discuss settling the case out of court. The parties will next meet October 17.
