Lugano, Switzerland, October 13th, 2015 - Helsinn Healthcare SA announces that it has entered into a settlement agreement with Dr. Reddy's Laboratories, Inc. to resolve certain patent litigations relating to Helsinn Healthcare's Aloxi® (palonosetron HCl injection) in the United States, where it is currently distributed by Helsinn Healthcare's marketing partner, Eisai Inc.
As a result of the settlement, Dr. Reddy's Laboratories Inc. will be permitted to market a 505(j) generic version of Aloxi® in the United States on September 30, 2018 or earlier under certain circumstances. The terms of the settlement agreement are otherwise confidential.
