DENVER--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The leadership team at Ethos Veterinary Health (Ethos) today announced the formation of the new company, the result of a merger between IVG Hospitals (New England), Premier Veterinary Group (Chicago), Wheat Ridge Animal Hospital (Denver) and Veterinary Specialty Hospital of San Diego. Ethos will provide specialty and emergency care for pets through its 13 hospital locations across the U.S. The final merger documents were signed in December 2015.

The same people who led each of the hospital groups before the merger are all part of the new leadership team and the board of Ethos. This is truly a merger of four companies with the same people in place, both locally and nationally.
Ethos Veterinary Health is able to develop progressive medical techniques to improve care at local veterinary hospitals, as well as launch groundbreaking services such as VetBloom, online continuing medical education and training for the entire veterinary team. In addition, the company has its own reference lab and compounding pharmacy, which will enhance the ability to diagnose and treat patients.
